Our assessment
Editor's score from 0 to 10 on seven criteria. These are not the manufacturer's figures: they are our judgement, and we explain how we work them out in how we choose.

Worked out with an absolute anchor Editorial judgement
We could not score «space efficiency», «capacity» because the manufacturer does not publish the figures needed. That axis shows as zero on the chart: it is a declared gap, not a low score.
Full technical details
Figures the manufacturer does not publish appear as «—». We would rather leave a gap than fill it with an invented number.

The analysis
This one solves the opposite problem from the rest of the page. It does not answer 'where does a guest sleep': it answers 'where does everything else go', by using the volume under a bed you were going to have anyway.
The base lifts on a gas strut from the side, which matters in a small bedroom: a foot-lift base needs clear floor at the end of the bed, and a side lift needs it at the side. Measure which one you actually have before choosing.
What we cannot tell you is how much it holds. The maker publishes no capacity in litres, and neither does any other bed we have looked at. That is why the space score is empty here rather than estimated: on a page about how much room things give back, guessing that figure would be the worst thing we could do.
Two practical warnings. The mattress is not included, so the real price is this plus a single mattress. And at 36.4 kg assembled with full assembly required, this is a piece of furniture you build once and do not move again.
In favour
- The storage is the volume under a bed you already need
- Gas strut side lift: the base rises with one hand
- Lined base, so bedding does not sit on bare board
- 1,220 ratings averaging 4.2
Against
- The maker publishes no capacity in litres, so we cannot score it
- Mattress not included: budget for one
- 36.4 kg assembled and full assembly required: this does not move
Best for: A bedroom with no wardrobe space, where the only free volume left is under the bed.
What the people who bought it say
Across 1,220 ratings the average is 4.2. Buyers mention how much goes under it and how easily the gas strut lifts. The complaints are about assembly time and about parts arriving marked.
