Taking part in the Associates Programme

Abatible takes part in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to give websites a way of earning advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk.

What that means in practice

When you press a «View on Amazon» button and buy the product, Amazon pays us a percentage of that sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had reached Amazon on your own: the commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your pocket.

Every outbound link to Amazon on this site is an affiliate link, and they are marked as such in the markup (rel="sponsored nofollow").

How it affects what we write

It does not affect the scores. They are worked out with published formulas you can read in how we choose, and Amazon's commission is all but identical between products in the same category: we earn no more for recommending one over another.

What we do is say when something does not convince us. Every entry has its list of drawbacks, and when a manufacturer publishes a figure that does not hold up, we point at it instead of repeating it.

Prices and availability

The prices we show are the ones we found on the date given on each entry. Amazon prices change constantly, so treat our figures as a reference and always confirm the final price on Amazon before buying. The same goes for availability.

Amazon, Amazon.co.uk and the Amazon logo are trade marks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. All other brands mentioned belong to their respective owners. Abatible is not associated with any of the manufacturers whose products it analyses.
